The Door of Hope is being established in the city of Norwalk, California. The Door of Hope is an education first resource for at risk middle and high school youth The Door of Hope will work primarily with students within the City of Norwalk and reach out to surrounding cities of Santa Fe Springs, La Mirada, Whittier and beyond. The Door of Hope will create partnerships with the local school districts, juvenile court systems, probation department, local cities and local law enforcement.

Our mission at the Door of Hope is to adhere to our core values and our vision of providing the “life skills” lessons, mentoring, and other needs by utilizing the resources that will benefit the student and the family. We believe our efforts will bring the person in need to become more productive and therefore become an asset to the community in which they live.

Homeless Program

The DOOR of HOPE is fighting homelessness.

The growing atrocity of homelessness is a daunting reality every single day.  We hope to give homelessness a fight to end this tragedy as a nation.

Substance Abuse Program

Substance Abuse costs more than you think!

It is a pandemic on our nation and those who experience substance abuse should seek help now, we are here we are the Door of Hope!  We can help you get through this together.

Domestic Violence Program

Domestic Violence and abuse can happen to anyone, regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, income, or other factors.

Pantry Program

Hunger affects more than just your tummy.

It can have an impact on the rest of your life, from mental-health problems to thoughts of suicide.  The Door of Hope believes no child, adult, or senior should ever go hungry.

Life Skills Program

Skills needed to get ahead in life.

  • When at school or university, you’ll need study skills
  • When buying a car, negotiation skills may be needed
  • You’ll need to work on your employability skills to get a jobLearn these and more with our Life Skills Program.
